Fire breaks out in Kathmandu warehouse, one killed

A person was killed and five others injured after fire broke out at a warehouse in Kathmandu on Saturday night.

The fire, which began from Madan Sahi's house in Dallu Residential Area at around 7 pm, gutted property worth Rs 20 million, police said. Bimala Sahi (55), who was in the warehouse when the fire started, had fainted, and was rushed to Bir Hospital. She breathed her last while receiving treatment, officials added.
