Dahal slapper fails to post bail

The man who publicly slapped UCPN (M) chief Puspa Kamal Dahal last month has failed to post bail.

Police said Padam Kunwar has been sent to jail as his case is being heard. He could not post a Rs 28,000 bail set by Kathmandu Chief District Officer.

Kunwar had slapped Dahal at a programme organised by the UCPN (M) in Bhrikuti Mandap. nepalnews.com
