Nepali women's soccer team to play Int’l friendly match with Kuwait; Women’s league from Dec 15
Nepal's National Women's Football team is set to play international friendly match series against Kuwait National team in January, said All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).
The friendly matches is scheduled for January 13 and 15, informed ANFA in a press meet in the capital on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the apex football body also announced first women’s football league from Saturday in Dhangadi, Kailali district under the coordination of Kailali District Football Association.
All together eight teams including three departmental -- Nepal Police Club, Armed Police Force (APF) and Nepal Army Club -- and five regional teams will compete in the tournament.
The victorious team will bag Rs. 300,000 and the runner-up will receive Rs. 150,000 while teams securing third and fourth spots will bag Rs.
75,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively.
Similarly, the best player will be awarded with scooter and the best players in four different positions -- goalkeeping, defending, midfield, forward along with the best coach will get with Rs 25,000 each. nepalnews.com
