2 die, 20 injured in separate mishaps

Two persons have died and more than 20 others injured in two different accidents in Gorkha and Kanchanpur districts in the past 24 hours.

An unidentified man died and four others were injured when a truck skidded off the road at Panch Kilo and fell some 200 meters into Aguwa Khola in Gorkha district this morning.

The injured are currently receiving treatment at Gorkha hospital.

Meanwhile, Sarada Karna, 29, of Sarlapiha, Bhaktipur-7 of Kanchanpur was killed and 17 others were injured when a jeep (Bhe 1 Ja 79) met with an accident at Dhakeri of Banke district on Wednesday.

The jeep was heading to Kohalpur from Kanchanpur when it met with the accident.
