Finance Minister Barshaman Pun claimed that the new one-third budget introduced by the government on Sunday has opened the door to forge consensus to end the political deadlock witnessed among the political parties.
Speaking at an interaction here in the capital on Monday, Pun said that though the government had been preparing to introduce the full budget, the government has presented the partial budget with an aim to forge consensus among the political parties.
The government has introduced one-third budget of Rs. 161.24 billion through ordinance in the absence of parliament for the fiscal year 2012/13.
Minister Pun also assured to introduce full-fledged budget after forging consensus among the parties on the issues of either reinstatement of Constituent Assembly or another round of CA election. Nepalnews.com
