Ambassador Shrestha presents Letter of Credence to Greek President
Mohan Krishna Shrestha, non Resident Ambassador of Nepal to Greece presented his Letter of Credence to Dr. Karolos Papoulias, President of the Hellenic Republic of Greece at the Presidential Palace Thursday. Present in the occasion were high dignitaries of Presidential Palace, Deputy Foreign Minister, Permanent Secretary and other dignitaries.
While presenting his credential Ambassador Shrestha conveyed his best wishes to the President, Government and the people of Greece, the best wishes of the Government and People of Nepal for the continued happiness, progress and prosperity.
Ambassador Shrestha was a first one to present the Credential followed by Ambassadors of Nicaragua, El Salvador, Gambia and DPR Korea.
There after a reception was organized in which President Papoulias congratulated Ambassadors and also he expressed regards and best wishes to the Presidents of Nepal, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Gambia and DPR Korea countries. President Papoulias further said that Greece is facing some problems now but these problems will be solved by the effort of the Government and people of Greece.
Ambassador Shrestha will be meeting high dignitaries of Greek Government and other dignitaries of Tourism and Trade sector to discuss and explore the ways to promote the bilateral relations between Nepal and Greece.
Ambassador Shrestha is scheduled to return to Paris on 24 July 2012. nepalnews.com
