Houses inundated in Rajbiraj as Saptakoshi River swells

More than one dozen houses have been inundated when floods entered the Gobargadha VDC with the increasing flow of water in Saptakoshi River.

The floods entered the VDC Thursday evening with the sudden increase in water level. Houses of Mishrilal Sada, Sakaldev Sada, Chhutharu Sada, Sadananda Sada, Bhayalal Sada, Kabitlal Sada, Laxmi Sada, Govind Sada, Chhotakani Sada of Gobargadha- 7 have been completely inundated, the victims told RSS.

All the properties have been completely destroyed and they have difficulty in getting out of house as there is water all around, said Chhutharu Sada.
