Nepal-China security talks to start Monday
The Home secretary-level talks between Nepal and China is scheduled to start on Monday in Beijing, China. The meeting will focus mainly on bolstering security and measures to be taken to control criminal activities along the Nepal-China border.
Home Secretary Sushil Jung Rana left for Beijing on Saturday leading a seven-member delegation which includes Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambika Luintel, Additional Inspector General of Armed Police Force Durja Kumar Rai and Director at the National Investigation Department Nabraj Thapa.
During the meeting the security officials of two countries would discuss the steps to boost security along Nepal-China border and control criminal activities in the border areas, among others. Nepalnews.com
