Thames Corporate Quiz - Qualifier round for runners up teams today
The qualifier round for the runner up teams in the ongoing Thames Corporate Quiz is being conducted on Sunday. Three teams from this round will be qualified for the semi-finals which will be held on Monday.
Organized by The Management Club of Thames International College, Thames Corporate Quiz is a 6-days event with 25 participating teams. It commenced on the 27th of July 2012 with five teams each in Group A and Group B respectively competing for the qualifiers.
Group A consisted of Ace Institute of Management (Team A), Nepal Commerce Campus (NCC), National College of Information Technology (NCIT), K & K and Nobel College. The winners and runner up were NCC and NCIT respectively.
Group B consisted of Ace Institute of Management (Team B), Everest College (Team B), Apex College (Team B), Kantipur College of Management and Information Technology (KCMIT) and Kathmandu Don Bosco (Team A). The winners and runner up of the shift were Ace Institute Of Management and KCMIT respectively.
The first teams from both the groups proceeded to the semifinals and the runner ups will be competing in the qualifires on Sunday.
The second day of the Thames Corporate Quiz 2012 on Saturday was held with
15 teams competing for the qualifires. The teams participating in the first shift were Everest College, Kathmandu Don Bosco, Cosmos college, Kathford College and Citizens College. The winners and the runner ups of the shift were Kathford College and Cosmos College respectively.
The second shift of the day was conducted between Nobel College, K and K college, Apex College(team A) , College of Applied Business and Apex College(team C). The winners and the runner ups of the shift were Apex College(team C) and College of Applied Business.
Similarly, the teams competing in the third shift were Prime College, Kathford College, Kantipur City College, Nepal College of Information Technology and WLC College. The winner of the shift was Prime College and the runner up was Nepal College of Information Technology. Nepalnews.com
