Suffering from critical renal complications, ex-PLA chief Pun prefers medical treatment within country
UCPN (Maoist) politburo member and former chief of People's Liberation Army (PLA) Nanda Kishor Pun Saturday said that he wanted to undergo medical treatment in the country itself instead of going to foreign hospitals.
Issuing a press statement, Pun who is suffering from kidney disease said though the doctors, his party leadership and relatives have been advising him to undergo treatment in a foreign hospital and have also made arrangements for that, he desired for his medical treatment in the country itself.
Pun has also appealed the leadership from the hospital bed not to split the party. He said that the party should not split in the name of ideological clash.
