Former Constituent Assembly (CA) member ad UML leader Rabindra Adhikari Sunday said he would not file candidacy in the next CA election on moral ground.

Speaking at a programme in Pokhara, Adhikari said he has lost rights to plead for vote as no moral ground has been left to do so after the dissolution of the CA without promulgating new constitution despite enough time to draft it.

He also apologise for the failure to promulgate constitution.

Leader Adhikari ruled out any possibility of holding fresh CA election in November as it was announced unilaterally by Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai. He also stressed on the need for consensus government to manage political and constitutional crisis facing the nation. nepalnews.com
