Tara Airplane makes emergency landing after bird strike
A Tara Airplane carrying passengers from Jumla to Nepalgunj made emergency landing at Surkhet Airport shortly after hitting birds upon takeoff on Wednesday. It was not known whether the plane's right or left engine experienced the bird strike.
All nineteen passengers on board the aircraft are said to be safe.
However, one co-pilot sustained minor injuries in the accident, it is learnt.
