Caretaker govt has no right to introduce budget: BMF
The Broader Madhesi Front (BMF), an alliance of the opposition of Madhes-based parties led by Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Nepal, Wednesday said the caretaker government has no right to bring new budget through ordinance.
“The caretaker government has no right to introduce budget without consensus among the parties. The government led by PM Baburam Bhattarai has lost its legitimacy after the dissolution of CA," said a press statement issued by the BMF after it's meeting in Kathmandu.
The alliance also urged President Ram Baran Yadav to block the 'unconstitutional' decisions of the government. "President should not approve the ordinance that the government is planning to issue to announce new budget until consensus is reached," said the statement.
BMF also asked Prime Minister Bhattarai to quit immediately to pave the way for national consensus government. nepalnews.com
