Bharat Khawas named captain of U-22 national team

Bharat Khawas has been appointed as captain while Bikash Singh Chhetri vice-captain of Nepali U-22 national team for the AFC U-22 Cup Group D Qualifiers scheduled to be held at Dasharath Stadium, Kathmandu from June 16.

Nepal´s coach Krishna Thapa named midfielder Khawas as the captain and defender Bikash Singh Chhetri as vice-captain of the team on Thursday.

Host Nepal is in Group D along with Uzbekistan, Jordan, Yemen and Bangladesh.

Nepal will take on Bangladesh in its first match on Saturday.

Meanwhile, All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has also increased the price for closed parapet to Rs. 700 while open rampant Rs. 300.
