Indian cricket sensation Dhoni wraps up Nepal visit
Captain of Indian national cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, wrapped up his two-day visit to Nepal and returned to India on Sunday.
Dhoni had arrived in Kathmandu for the first time at the invitation of Cricket Association of Nepal and the Indian Embassy on Saturday.

Earlier today, he called on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav at the President’s Office, Shital Niwas and discussed the possibilities of
developing and promoting cricket in Nepal and cooperation of Nepal and India for the same. Indian ambassador to Nepal Jayant Prasad was also
present on the occasion
Dhoni, who was accompanied by his wife, also paid a visit to the Pashupatinath Temple and visited an orphanage run by Maiti Nepal at
Tilganga today before returning India.
On Saturday, Dhoni had met Nepal’s Under-19 and senior cricket players at the TU cricket ground, Kirtipur and shared the experience of his
cricketing career.
According to CAN, Dhoni’s visit is expected to promote Nepali Cricket in the International Level, especially among Test Playing Countries.
With this visit, CAN also hopes to establish link that may help develop ties with Indian regional cricket bodies as well as with the BCCI.
The visit is also expected to be helpful in projecting T.U. Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, as an venue for international cricket, CAN officials
