DPM Shrestha gets local development portfolio, too

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has been given the additional responsibility as local development minister.

Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai gave him the extra portfolio on Monday, before leaving for Brazil. The portfolio was held earlier by Surya Man Gurung of Nepali Congress, who had resigned in the wake of dispute between the parties ahead of the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly.
