Experts stress on low benefits in trade with Kuwait
Experts and industrial entrepreneurs have expressed that the economic and trade relationship between Nepal and Kuwait should be boosted in order to take benefits from trade with Kuwait.
Speaking at a programme entitled “Nepal Kuwait Trade and Economic Relation” organised by Nepal Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industries
(NKCCI) here in the capital on Sunday, industrialists stressed on the need for strengthening trade relations effectively with Kuwait as Nepal has been lacking to take benefits.
The forum also discussed on the import and export of products between the two nations along with creating easy and favourable environment.
On the occasion, Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun also urged the private sector to boost trade relationship with Kuwait along with attracting investment in the country. He also assured government’s support in this regard.
Saying that Nepal has huge export potentials to Kuwait, NKCCI president Surendra Bir Malakar said there should be diplomatic initiatives to strengthen the trade with Kuwait. nepalnews.com
