NEPSE posts double digit growth

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) posted double digit positive growth after continuous stable fluctuation for past couple of weeks.

The secondary market increased by 10.26 points to settle at 375.4 points on Monday while it had increased by 1.62 points to settle at 365.14 points on Sunday.

NEPSE traded with 77 companies registering the turnover of Rs. 38.89 million, trading 135,585 units of shares through 1408 transactions.

As per the sub-indices, except finance group which was negative by 0.59 points all the groups witnessed positive growth – banking 13.76 points, hotels 0.57 points, development bank 0.99 points, hydropower 13.88 points, insurance 1.82 points and others 14.1 points. nepalnews.com
