PM briefs President about ‘successful’ Brazil visit
Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai called on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav Wednesday morning and briefed him about his recent Brazil visit.

PM Bhattarai reached Shital Niwas, the President’s Office, in Maharajgunj and described his Brazil trip to attend United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development of Rio+20 held from June 20-22 “successful”.
During his stay in Brazil, Bhattarai had addressed the summit apart from meeting heads of governments of different countries including India and United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on the sidelines of the summit.
Dr Bhattarai, who met President Yadav for the first time after returning home on June 25, also discussed the latest political situation of the country, which is complicated by the demand of the opposition parties for his resignation. They also discussed the political stalemate and deepening political crisis following the unceremonious demise of the Constituent Assembly on May 27.
It is learnt that during the meeting PM Bhattarai told the President that he will hand over power only to an elected Prime Minister. nepalnews.com
