Janakpur local injured in Monday's blast succumbs to injuries
A local resident of Janakpur who was critically injured in the bomb blast at Ramananda Chowk, Janakpur, Monday morning succumbed to injuries Friday morning.
Deependra Das, who was among the nine critically injured people who were airlifted to Kathmandu, died while undergoing treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajunj.
Four persons were killed and over 30 others injured in the blast that took place when a sit-in programme organised by Mithila Struggle Committee demanding 'autonomous Mithila state' was going on.
The government on Thursday declared the four deceased martyrs and pledged Rs 1 million relief aid to the victims' families. nepalnews.com
