Czech Republic interested to invest in Nepal
A visiting delegation of Czech Republic has agreed to extend their investment in Nepal with the cooperation and coordination of the privates sector.
During the interaction between the Nepali business entrepreneurs and Czech Republic delegation on Monday here in the capital, the possibilities of bilateral economic cooperation between the two nations were discussed.
The delegation also expressed their interest for investment in Nepal’s hydropower, automobile and cement factories, infrastructure, tourism and civil aviation sectors.
The delegation led by Ambassador of Czech Republic to Nepal Miloslav Stasek said that Nepal and Czech Republic have vast scope for cooperation in areas like trade, commerce and development.
Confederation of Nepali Industries (CNI) and Confederation of Czech Industries (CCI) also agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the economic and trade cooperation boosting economic relation between the two nations’ entrepreneurs.
On the same occasion, Narendra K Basnyat, acting president of CNI said that the bilateral trade relation would help boost Nepal’s economy along with development in the hydro power projects, automobile, tourism, among others sectors. nepalnews.com
