Seti flash flood toll reaches 26; 40 still missing
The death toll in flash flood on the Seti river went up to 26 as four more bodies were recovered from the debris of flood-ravaged villages of Kaski district on Tuesday.
Authorities have ascertained the identities of only 18 bodies so far and handed over to their families.
The unidentified bodies which are badly mutiliated have been kept at the morgue of the Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara.
Police said some 40 people, including three Ukraninans, are still missing. A joint team comprising Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Personnel are wading through the debris to find the bodies. nepalnews.com
