NEPSE loses 8 pts

All the sub-indices of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index posted negative growth, plunging the index by further 8 points to settle at
411.39 on Thursday, the last trading day of this week.

As per the sub-indices, banking posted negative gain of 11.78 points, trading 7.01 points, hotels 0.38 points, development bank 1.48 points, hydropower 16.51 points, finance 1.2 points, insurance 2.41 points and other 5.88 points.

Though the index had gained 24 points on Monday, the first trading day of this week (as Sunday was a public holiday due to Buddha purnima) and 4 points further gain on Tuesday, the remaining Wednesday and Thursday posted negative growth of 13.05 points and 8.38 points, respectively.
