Nepal lose ACC U-16 Elite Cup final against Malaysia

Nepal lost the final match of ACC U-16 Elite Cup against host Malaysia by one wicket played at Kinrara Oval Cricket Ground in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Sunday.

Electing to bat first, Nepal could score only 117 runs losing all wickets in 33 overs. Aakash Bista contributed 35 runs for Nepal.

Chasing the target, Malaysia met the target in 39.1 overs posting 120 runs with the loss of nine wickets as unbeaten Virandeep Singh contributed 55 runs.

Nepal had advanced to the final defeating Kuwait, Bahrain, Iran and Malaysia topping the Group ‘B’.
