TB patients rise in Makwanpur
The number of patients of tuberculosis (TB) has increased by 25 per cent in the current year in Makawanpur district, RSS reports.
According to the District Health Office, Makawanpur, at present the district has 695 TB patients, including 295 females.
The office said that during the last fiscal year, the number of TB patients was 600. The TB patients are taking medicines under the DOTS in different hospitals and health centers in the district.
Similarly, a total of 14 persons are suffering from leprosy in the district.
