Bandh continues in Terai; Far west further choked as bandh enters day 20

Bandhs called by the various ethnic groups has affected normal life in different parts of the country on Wednesday.

A bandh jointly organised by Tharuhat Joint Struggle Committee and Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) has hit Terai districts where marketplaces remain closed and public transport has come to a halt.

Various ethnic groups in Terai started shutdown strike demanding identity based federal structure from Monday.
