The dead bodies of 13 Indian nationals who were killed in the Agni Air plane crash in Jomsom on Monday were handed over to the families and relatives on Wednesday.
The dead bodies were handed over to the families following post-mortem at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, Kathmandu.
According to the Indian embassy, three other Indians who were injured in the air crash are undergoing treatment. Tirumala Kidambi Sreevardhini and Tirumala Kidambi Sreepada are currently undergoing treatment at Manipal Hospital, Pokhara, and are out of danger while their father Tirumala Kidambi Sreekanth is still in coma.
Fifteen people were killed and six injured in Monday's plane crash. Two other deceased were the pilot Prabhu Sharan Pathak and co-pilot JD Maharjan.The ill-fated Dornier 9N AIG-D228 was flying to Jomsom from Pokhara. nepalnews.com
