IME donates foodstuffs, essentials to Siraha fire victims
International Money Express (IME) has donated food and other essentials worth Rs. 300,000 to over 450 families made homeless by the recent wind-fed inferno in Auraahi VDC of Siraha district.
IME Regional Marketing Coordinator Subash KC and zonal coordinators of Narayani, Janakpur and Sagarmatha handed over the items to the fire victims themselves in Auraahi with support from IME Agents, and in coordination with Red Cross Society district officials, Chamber of Commerce & Industries district representatives, local media persons and the local Samaritans, according to a press release issued by IME.
The IME has provided the donation as part of its corporate social responsibility philosophy covering Health & Safety, Community Giving, Environment and Education.
