Four boys buried alive in sandpile

Four teenage boys of Bodhe VDC in Dhankuta were killed after a pile of sand collapsed and buried them Monday night.

The victims have been identified as Sunil Gurung, 18, Jhamak Yakkha, 16, Tika Ram Gurung, 13, and Abhishek rai, 19. The fifth boy, Suman Gurung, escaped alive with some injury.

Reports said they were buried alive after the cave under which they were sheltered collapsed at around 10 pm. The boys had gone to Tamor River for fishing. nepalnews.com
