NEPSE loses 20 pts

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index plunged by 20.42 points to 385.66 points on the fourth day of its trading day on Wednesday.

As per the sub-indices of NEPSE, except for hotel group positive growth by meager 2.45 points, all the indices witnessed in a negative growth – banking by 26.83 points, development bank 1.11 points, hydropower 28.09 points, finance 0.13 points, insurance 3.68 points, manufacturing 6.64 points and others 29.37 points.

The secondary market traded with 55 companies registering a turnover of Rs. 38.6 million through 767 transactions today.

Last week, the index had closed with a double digit growth of 25.75 points to settle at 416.37 points on Thursday, the last trading day. Nepalnews.com
