Carrying the national flag, the participants gathered at Durbarmarg to express their solidarity to the call for harmony between social groups. Most of the participants of the rally were in white shirts and T-shirts.
Students, business community and members of different professional organisations including Nepal Bar Association, Federation of Nepalese Journalists, Private and Boarding Schools Organisation (PABSON), National-PABSON, Nepal Medical Association, Nepal Engineers Association and Nepal University Teachers Association participated in the rally.
The rally came a day after the three-day nationwide bandh organised by Janajati groups demanding ethnicity-based federalism structure.
