SC stays CA term extension decision

The Supreme Court on Thursday issued a ruling to the government, asking it not to proceed with its decision to extend the term of the Constituent Assembly.

A single bench of Chief Justice Khilaraj Regmi issued the order to this effect after a hearing on writs filed against government decision to extend CA term. Three petitions were filed at the SC on Wednesday challenging the government decision.
