Chinese cultural center to be set up to strengthen Nepal-China cultural ties
An agreement has been reached between Nepal and China to establish a Chinese Cultural Center in Nepal.
Secretary at the Ministry of Cultural, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Yagya Prasad Gautam and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Yang Houlan on Thursday signed the agreement at the Ministry, state-owned news agency RSS reported.
The Center is to be established with an objective to providing information to Nepali people on various cultural activities of China and extend cultural relations between at public-level.
“The center will help to promote cultural exchange of the two countries”, said Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Post Bahadur Bogati.
At the occasion, Chinese Ambassador Houlan said that the center will help make the cultural ties between two countries stronger. nepalnews.com
