Former king Gyanendra Shah has urged people to beware of short-sightedness of political parties saying that the policy and decisions of those parties were the reason behind the chaos in the country.
Inaugurating Maha Yogi Guru Gorakhnath Temple in Haripur VDC of Nawalparasi district, the former king also claimed that the monarchy was a pillar of the country.
In a short written speech, he stressed on the need for conservation of cultural traditions and harmony to unite the nation.
