Former State Minister for Peace and UML leader Dilli Mahat has died while receiving treatment in Kathmandu, the party said in a statement on Wednesday.

The UML central committee member was suffering from high blood pressure. Mahat, who was admitted to Karnali Academy of Health Sciences in Jumla, was flown to Kathmandu on Monday for treatment.
