NEPSE posts 11-pt increase
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index posted a double digit increase of 11.79 points to settle at 475.15 points on Wednesday for the second time after Dashain vacation.
Previously, the secondary market index had surged by 11.13 points to settle at 447.83 points on October 30, the first trading day after the Dashain vacation.
As per the sub-indices, except hotels negative gain by 6.02 points, all the groups including commercial banks posted positive of 18.97 points, development banks 1.68 points, hydropower 15.9 points, finance 1.9 points, insurance 3.37 points and other 1.18 points.
The capital market registered a turnover of Rs. 117.89 million trading 384,191 shares through 1606 transactions. nepalnews.com
