School level Indo-Nepal U-16 Cricket from Nov 20

The school level Wai-Wai Indo-Nepal U-16 Cricket Tournament is set to start from November 20.

Organising a press conference here in the capital on Sunday, Greenland Children Academy Higher Secondary School informed that altogether 12 teams will participate in the tournament including eight from Nepal and four teams from India.

The 12 teams will be divided into four groups and each team will play with each other in their group, informed the school. The top teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament.

The victorious team will bag Rs. 80,000 while runner up will receive Rs. 40,000 along with trophies and certificates.

The teams include - Punjab Public School; Glacier S. School, Baneshwor; Sathya Bharati Vidyapeeth, Kolkata; Rajan Memorial, Balaju; T.C. Academy, Kerala; Tribhuwan Adarsha, Pharping; Children Glory High School, Gwalior; Galaxy Public School, Kathmandu; New Horizon H. S. School, Bhairawa; D.A.V. School, Jawalakhel; GCA Higher Sec. School, Samakhushi and Sainik AMV, Bhaktapur. nepalnews.com
