U-16 Nepal-India School-level Cricket: Kolkata defeat Rajan Memorial in opener

Kolkata Satya Bharati defeated Rajan Memorial Int. School by 10 wickets in the school level Wai-Wai Indo-Nepal U-16 Cricket Tournament that kicked off in Lalitpur Tuesday.

Kolkata scored total 49 runs in 5.3 overs without losing any wicket while chasing the target of 45 runs set by Rajan held at Pulchowk Engineering Ground.

Greenland Children Academy Higher Secondary School is organising the tournament. Eight teams from Nepal and four from India are participating in it.

The 12 teams will be divided into four groups and each team will play with each other in their group. The top teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals.

The winning team will bag Rs. 80,000 while runner up will receive Rs. 40,000 along with trophies and certificates. nepalnews.com
