'A' Division League Football kicks off

The Martyr’s Memorial Red Bull A Division League Football Tournament kicked off here in the capital Tuesday.

In the two inaugural matches of the day, defending champions Nepal Police Club (NPC) and Iceberg Madhayapur Youth Association (MYC) played 1-1 draw at Dasharath Stadium. MYC’s Jeevan Sinkeman scored in the early minute of the first half while Bhola Silwal equalised the score in the 48th minute for Police.

Similarly, LH Manang Marsyangdi Club (MMC) and Sankata Club also played 1-1 draw to share points in another match of the day. MMC’s Nirajan Malla put the team ahead in the seventh minute while Manish Gururng of Sankata leveled the score in the 53rd minute. nepalnews.com
