US ambassador calls on NC prez

US ambassador to Nepal Peter W. Bodde met Nepali Congress president Sushil Koirala at the latter's residence in Maharajgunj Monday.

In the meeting, Bodde is known to have inquired how and when the parties were going to reach an understanding to form a unity government while Koirala said the negotiations would result in a consensus very soon as the parties had realised the urgency in view of the November 29 deadline given by the President.
