Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai and UCPN(Maoist) chief Pushpa Kamal Dahal have taken CPN-Maoist's claim to lead the government of national unity, on a 'positive note', party leader Mohan Baidhya said.

CPN-M, which split from UCPN (Maoist) few months ago, has been saying that its leader Ram Bahadur Thapa is the best candidate to lead the country out of transition.

"We proposed that Thapa we nominated as the new Prime Minister," said Baidhya. "Dahal and Bhattrai have said they have taken the proposal on a positive note." nepalnews.com
