KU lift first KU Cup T-20 Cricket Tournament

Kathmandu University (KU) defeated Kathmandu University School of Medical Science (KUMS) to lift the title of first KU Cup T-20 Cricket Tournament 2012 organised by KU, Dhulikhel in association with Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

In the final match played at KU Ground in Dhulikhel on Wednesday, KU defeated KUMS by 92 runs.

Electing to bat first, KU posted a target of 214 runs losing six wickets in 20 overs. While chasing the target, KUMS were restricted just to 121 runs in 17.5 overs. nepalnews.com
