NPC face second defeat; Sankata play another draw with Saraswati after MMC

Machhindra Football Club (MFC) defeated defending champions Nepal Police Club (NPC) 2-0 in Red Bull Martyrs' Memorial A Division League Football match played at Dasharath Stadium on Wednesday.

Laxmi Narayan Shrestha and Bishal Rai B scored one goal each to defeat Police.

This is the second straight loss for Police. They had lost against CMG Sankata Club 2-0 in their second match while they had played 1-1 draw with Iceberg Madyapur Youth Association in their opening match.

This is a second win for MFC. They had defeated Kawalakhel Youth Club 5-1 int heir opening match while it had played goalless draw against Madyapur.

Similarly, Sankata Club played 1-1 draw with Saraswati Youth Club (SYC) in another match of the day. This is second draw of Sankata as they had played draw with LH Manag Marshyangdi Club 1-1 of the total played three matches. nepalnews.com
