Nepal to play against host UAE in ACC Elite Trophy

Nepali National Cricket Team are set to play against host UAE in their opening match of the ACC Elite Trophy UAE 2012 that is scheduled to kick off from October 3-12 in UAE.

Nepal are drawn alongside Hong Kong, UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia in Group B while Afghanistan, Malaysia, Oman, Bhutan and Maldives are in Group A.

Similarly, Nepal will take on Kuwait on October 6, Saudi Arabia on October 7, and Hong Kong on October 9.

The Nepali players include the same that clinched the title of ICC World Cricket League (WCL) Division 4. The squad comprises captain Paras Khadka, Gyanendra Malla, Sharad Vesawkar, Amrit Bhattarai, Shakti Gauchan, Basanta Regmi, Sanjam Regmi, Rahul Kumar Vishwakarma, Pradeep Airee, Anil Kumar Mandal, Prithu Baskota, Chandra Saud, Binod Das and Subash Khakurel.
