Deuba in favour of reviving CA instead of holding fresh polls

Senior leader of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba Wednesday said that reviving the dissolved Constitution Assembly (CA) was the best option to promulgate new constitution.

Inaugurating Science Exhibition organised by Free Students Union in Tri-Chandra college in Kathmandu, Deuba said an idea of holding fresh election was not relevant as people are not in favour of election due to the failure of the parties to give new constitution in past four years.

"We have failed to give new constitution to the people during four year tenure of the CA. So it will not be reasonable to reach among the people for election again," he added. nepalnews.com
