Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) chairman Pashupati Shumsher Rana Sunday suggested that independent person from non-political background should be made prime minister in unity government.
Speaking at a press conference in Birgunj, Rana said that the major dispute among the parties was related to the leadership of the unity government instead of the contents of the constitution.
"The parties do not have differences on electoral system or contents of the constitution, leadership of the government is the main dispute which has been prolonging the political deadlock," he added.
He suggested parties to find independent person from non-political background to lead the unity government as they have failed to forge consensus despite numbers of talks.
He also accused major three parties -UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and CPN-UML of creating favourable environment for President to be active by protracting the political impasse. nepalnews.com
