Students to take truant teachers to task
Students aligned to the ruling UCPN-Maoist have launched a campaign to make teachers working in public campuses to take classes regularly, RSS reported.
As part of the drive, members of the All Nepal National Independent Student Union- Revolutionary, will check the attendance of teachers and action would be taken against those playing truant, said the union.
"The campaign was launched to punish the education mafia, who are promoting private colleges at the expense of public ones," union Chief Himal Sharma, who launched the drive at Ratna Rajya Campus on Sunday, told RSS. nepalnews.com
