Ambassador Shah presents Letter of Credence to Chilean President
Ambassador of Nepal, Pradhumna Bikram Shah presented his Letter of Credence to Miguel Juan Sebastian Pinera Echenique, President of the Republic of Chile, amid a special ceremony at La Moneda Palace in Santiago Monday afternoon.
After presentation of the Letter of Credence, Ambassador Shah had an audience with the President of Chile. During the meeting, he conveyed the greetings and best wishes of President of Nepal Dr. Ram Baran Yadav and Prime Minister of Nepal Dr. Baburam bhattarai.
The Chilean President reciprocated their sentiments and asked Ambassador Shah to communicate his best wishes and personal wellbeing to President and Prime Minister of Nepal.
On query of the President, Ambassador Shah appraised political and economic developments in Nepal, and expressed strong desire to work toward further strengthening the bilateral relations happily subsisting between Neapl and Chile. The two countries hold many common views on contemporary international issues pertaining to global peace and security, particularly on peacekeeping, Middle East and reform of the Security Council of UN, Ambassador Shah added.
Ambassador Shah is a residential Nepalese Ambassador to Brazil, and concurrently accredited as non-residential Ambassador to Chile.
