Bodies of missing girl recovered from Koshi canal
Bodies of two girls who went missing after drowning in the Koshi canal at Deuri Bharuwa VDC in Saptari district have been recovered on Monday evening.
The two girls – Sangita Saha, 10, daughter of Budhwan Saha of Basbitri
VDC-9 and Manisha Saha, 8, daughter of Sachinanda Saha of the same VDC - had drowned in the Koshi canal on Sunday evening. The bodies have been sent to Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital in Rajbiraj for postmortem, police said.
They had drowned while taking bath in the Koshi canal on the occasion of Jitiya Festival. Their bodies were found near a bridge situated around 25 meters far from the canal. nepalnews.com
