UCPN (M) to step up talks with oppn; rules out PM's resignation without package deal
The UCPN (Maoist) has decided to intensify talks with the opposition parties to either go for fresh poll or reinstate the Constituent Assembly.
A meeting of the party leaders held at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar also took stock of the party's preparations for the upcoming general convention.
"If the parties fail to reach an agreement within mid-October, they may not get a second opportunity," party spokesperson Agni Sapkota told media persons.
The meet reiterated that PM Baburam Bhattarai would not resign until political parties reached a package agreement, said Sapkota. nepalnews.com
